I’m the blogger – Flora Maudsley-Barton.
I have been a practicing financial planner for 16 years, all that time has been spent as an independent adviser, never tied to a particular “product provider”. I’m both a Chartered- and Certified- Financial Planner and I’m listed on the Universities’ Superanuation Scheme website as an accredited supplier.
My specialism has become all aspects of planning for people whose wealth fits into the £500,000 to £3,000,000 bracket.
The clients I refer to are customers of Parsonage, a regulated specialist financial planning practice, based in Cheshire.
Most of Parsonage’s clients have achieved financial security, but are motivated by goals other than money. They welcome our professional management and attentive service, so that they can concentrate on other things. They often ask for help relating to the issues around retirement, such as how to draw pension benefits and how to secure the income they need throughout retirement. Planning for high earners has also become a recent topic.
